1. JOB OVERVIEW
We are urgently hiring 50 hardworking and physically fit General Labourers for immediate deployment to Guyana. The role involves versatile manual work across three main sectors: Agriculture (Farming), Construction, and Infrastructure (Road Works). The successful candidate will rotate between these duties as required by the employer’s project needs.
2. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The daily duties may include, but are not limited to, the following tasks:
A. Construction & Road Work
• Site Preparation: Digging trenches, compacting earth, leveling ground, and cleaning debris from construction sites.
• Material Handling: Loading and unloading construction materials (cement, bricks, tools, pipes) from trucks and moving them to work areas.
• Assistance: Helping skilled tradesmen (masons, carpenters, welders) by mixing concrete, holding materials, or handing tools.
• Road Maintenance: Assisting in road paving, spreading asphalt/gravel, painting road markings, and setting up traffic safety cones.
• Safety: Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and following safety protocols to prevent accidents.
B. Farm & Agricultural Work
Cultivation: Planting seeds, weeding, pruning crops, and harvesting fruits/vegetables.
• Maintenance: Repairing farm fences, digging irrigation channels, and cleaning farm equipment.
• Livestock Care: assisting with feeding animals and cleaning enclosures (if required).
• General Maintenance: Keeping the farm grounds clean and organized.

4. REQUIREMENTS

• Physical Health: Must be physically fit and able to lift heavy loads (Medical Fitness Certificate is mandatory).
• Legal: Must have a clean criminal record (Police Clearance Certificate is mandatory).
• Passport: Must hold a valid passport with at least 2 years of validity remaining.
